Long & Foster Agents Rank Among Top in The Nation
Congratulations to the Long & Foster sales associates and teams honored as the best in the nation, according to the latest REAL Trends’ The Thousand list. The industry news organization recognizes the country’s highest producing teams and individual agents by sales volume and transaction sides in its annual list, which was published in a special advertising section of The Wall Street Journal.
Rachel Foster will return to Northern Virginia to become the managing broker of the McLean, Great Falls and McLean Elm sales offices. Foster most recently served as managing broker for the Charlottesville-Old Ivy, Charlottesville-West and Staunton/Waynesboro offices. Prior to joining the Charlottesville area leadership team, Foster served as sales manager for the McLean sales office.
Kevin Wilberger Promoted to Manager of Charlottesville and Staunton/Waynesboro Offices
Kevin Wilberger has been promoted to branch manager for Long & Foster’s Charlottesville Old Ivy, Charlottesville West and Staunton/Waynesboro offices. Most recently, Wilberger was the sales manager in those offices.
Sales Associates Honored with Latino Agents Award
Congratulations to agents who were named to the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Top 250 Latino Agents list. The award recognizes agents whose commitment and hard work has impacted the rate of Hispanic homeownership across the country.
Juan Umanzor of the Bethesda Gateway office was recognized in two categories, including Top 250 Individuals by Transactions and ranked No. 24 in the category of Top 100 Teams by Transactions. Teresa Guzman of the Roanoke, Virginia office earned the No. 66 ranking in the Top 100 By Region category for the Southeast. Alfonzo Talavera of the Greater Silver Spring, Maryland office came in No. 99 in the Top 100 By Region category for the Southeast. Marta Granados of the Greater Silver Spring office was recognized as No. 100 on the Top 100 By Region category for the Southeast.
A round of applause goes to Terrie Owens, Cynthia Bailey and Brenda Payne of the Warrenton, Virginia office, on their election to the Greater Piedmont Realtors (GPR) 2022 Board of Directors. The GPR provides services and leadership to help its members be successful and profitable in real estate.
Kimberly Porter Wins George Grundy Ethics in Action Award
Kimberly Porter, a sales agent with the Tri-Cities Colonial Heights, Virginia office, has received the George Grundy Ethics in Action Award from the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors. The award is given to a member of the organization who is sought out by other Realtors seeking advice and counsel on questions concerning the Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.
Larry Lewis Named Realtor of the Year by Southside Virginia Association of Realtors
Larry Lewis, a sales agent with the Tri-Cities Colonial Heights, Virginia office, has received the Realtor of the Year Award from the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors. The award is the highest honor bestowed on a member of the association, recognizing their achievement, service and selfless dedication to the organization.
Terry V. Bass Appointed to Carroll County Realtors Executive Committee
Terry V. Bass, a sales associate with the Eldersburg, Maryland office, has been appointed by the Carroll County Realtors to serve as the Secretary on its Executive Committee for a four-year term. The committee is responsible for helping the board accomplish its work in the most efficient way.
