Long & Foster Honored as a Top Workplace in Delaware
Long & Foster has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by the Delaware News Journal. The Top Workplaces list is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by the News Journal’s research partner Energage, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. Long & Foster earned honors in the large companies’ category, which recognizes businesses with over 400 employees, and it received a special award for its exemplary training.
Prosperity Home Mortgage Consultants Recognized by VHDA
Four mortgage consultants with Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLC, were recently honored by the Virginia Housing Development Authority. The VHDA helps Virginia residents to find quality and affordable housing. Jonathan Haug, Derek Alverson, Leroy (Lee) Moore, and William Woodfin earned recognition as VHDA’s Top Producing Loan Officers.
In addition, Prosperity Home Mortgage was named “Best Mortgage Lender” by readers of The Daily Record. The publication covers Maryland business, legal and government news. The annual Reader Rankings grade area businesses in a number of categories, including business, healthcare, law and more. Online surveys were posted for each category and readers were asked to vote and share the surveys with colleagues.

LongandFoster.com continues to accrue awards for its user-friendly design and innovative features. The real estate website recently received accolades in three categories of the REAL Trends Top 2018 Real Estate Websites rankings. LongandFoster.com placed as a finalist for the Best Overall, Best Community Page and Best Property Detail categories.
Fonville Morisey Names New VP of Operations and Communications
Fonville Morisey Realty, a Long & Foster company, has named Sam Pyrtle as its vice president of operations and communications. In this role, Pyrtle, leads the company’s business operations and corporate communications, while also supporting the development and implementation of sales initiatives. Pyrtle has over a decade of experience in real estate and sales management.
