When Long & Foster launched its new website in May 2016, the company not only unveiled a new look for the site, but also changed the appearance of its corporate logo. While the traditional red, yellow and blue Long & Foster logo has represented the company well for many years, modifying it online allowed the firm to accomplish a few critical objectives.
With the revamped logo introduced on the website, Long & Foster was able to:
- Contemporize the look and feel its brand
- Become more relevant and consistent with the modern technology and presentation of the new website
- Leverage its exclusive affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, making a direct connection between Long & Foster Real Estate and the well-respected Christie’s global luxury brand
Since the site launched, Long & Foster has been slowly introducing the new look throughout all its advertising, marketing and technology channels. Above are a few examples of how that’s been done in the past few months.
For the Love of Home
A key element of the new look and feel is the tagline: Long & Foster. For the love of home.™ This statement brings to life the company’s commitment to its clients—that its agents and employees work and live for the love of home. That they’re more than just real estate and financial services professionals; they’re a true part of their local communities. That they’re trusted advisors, practiced negotiators, skilled house-hunters and so much more. And that they’ll work diligently for their clients every step of their journeys home. You’ll see that tagline and read that story about Long & Foster’s commitment to home throughout its marketing efforts going forward.
Getting Started with the New Long & Foster Logos
To help you get started using the new Long & Foster look, the company has prepared updated Brand Guidelines, which you can download from the Café. The Marketing division has also added all the new logos to the Café for you to download. Below is the new standard Long & Foster Real Estate logo, and at right, is the preferred version for the new Long & Foster | Christie’s luxury logo.
Timeline for Launching the New Look
Long & Foster has already started to introduce the new look, but comprehensive changes will not occur overnight. Please know the team is moving as fast as possible to transition all the content to the new design, and you’ll continue to see the new look of Long & Foster throughout its marketing, advertising and other efforts.
