In May, Long & Foster launched its all-new website—a responsive and modern site designed to showcase your listings and expertise in the real estate industry. In the months since then, the site has seen tremendous success—both in the numbers of people visiting LongandFoster.com and the amount of traffic being directed to the site from major search engines like Google.
Your listings are being seen by a growing number of visitors to LongandFoster.com. Compared to 2015, there was an increase of 157 percent in listing detail page views this past year. The new site has routinely delivered listing detail page views 3 to 4 times what we’ve seen in the past.
More and more consumers are shopping for homes online at LongandFoster.com. Nearly 4.48 million unique users visited our website and they viewed over 16.2 million pages. In fact, our monthly average unique user counts more than doubled after launching the new site in mid-May.
The majority of our website visitors are browsing on their phones. Just over 40 percent of our year-to-date traffic came from visitors on their smart phones or tablets—that’s an increase of 87 percent from 2015.
Agent and office profiles are more popular than ever before. This past year saw a 58 percent increase in the number of views of agent profile pages, office profile pages and agent and office searches for the full year, and these figures are routinely up 100 to 150 percent from our launch in late May through the end of the year.
Our site traffic has far surpassed expectations—with site traffic beating out the same month in the year prior every month since June (the first full month the new website was in operation).
