The contest, which kicked off in September, offers Long & Foster agents an opportunity to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta next year. Sales associates also will be eligible for regional drawings in the contest period, which runs through Dec. 31.
“This past year brought championship sports teams to Long & Foster’s markets—from the Washington Capitals to the Philadelphia Eagles,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We wanted to build on the excitement of cheering for our home teams by rewarding one of our own hometown agents for their success with our sales contest—giving them extra incentive to achieve even greater results in 2018.”
Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, also noted that as part of the contest, Long & Foster is encouraging our sales associates to evaluate their market conditions and reach out to customers who could benefit from today’s environment.
“While real estate is local, it’s a sellers’ market across much of the country, with low inventory and rising equity. I recommend that all of our agents work closely with their current clients and reach out to their past and prospective clients, advising them on how they can take advantage of what the market has to offer—it’s a good approach to building business and gets you closer to winning our sales contest,” Foster said.
How to Earn Entries in the Contest
To be entered into the sales contest, Long & Foster agents and teams need to complete various sales tasks and earn points for entries into company-wide drawings. In addition to the company-wide prize of a trip to the Super Bowl, regional prizes will be awarded.
