Gold Team Update: A note from Gold Team President Faith Greenwood

Gold Team Members,

This year promises to bring renewed energy and value to our Gold Team! Last year, the Gold Team Board, our office ambassadors and members of Long & Foster’s leadership team worked together to assess what today’s Gold Team needs to offer you, our members, in order to move forward as a vital, meaningful and production-based organization.

Based on your input and feedback, we have made changes and developed new initiatives to make membership in the Gold Team beneficial to you and your business and a goal for every productive agent in the company. With this in mind, we developed our theme for 2017—ReCharge Yourself and Your Business. Our theme embodies the main goals of our organization: business and professional development; networking, relationships and referrals; and fellowship and social opportunities.

We’ll bring that theme to life in the events and programs planned for this year. These include the following.

  • The first ReCharge, an all-new seminar for top producers at Long & Foster, will be held Feb. 27-28 at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Virginia. An exciting and meaningful agenda is planned, and it will include top producer panel discussions, speakers and breakout sessions for networking and idea sharing. Space is limited, so be sure to register early.
  • Our ever-popular Crab Feast will be held July 19 at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, Maryland. This event is always a sellout and provides a great opportunity for socializing and networking with Long & Foster agents from New Jersey to North Carolina and all areas between.
  • The second ReCharge retreat is planned for this fall. Details, including the date and location, will be shared later in the year.

Additionally, to maximize participation and improve communication, the office ambassador program is being revamped, and the board will work closer with office and regional managers starting in 2017. If you are interested in representing your office as an ambassador, let your manager or regional representative to the Gold Team board know. You can find the list of regional board members on the Gold Team website.

Regional Gold Team events will be held at various locations throughout the year with regional board representatives, office ambassadors and management working together to plan and execute these events.

I also encourage you to take advantage of information on the Gold Team website and Facebook page. The Facebook page is a great avenue to post referral needs and opportunities, as well as share information on events that would be of interest to other Gold Team members.

It is an honor to serve as your Gold Team president for 2017, and I look forward to working closely with the board, which is made up of excellent and capable representatives from each region. I welcome your questions, input and feedback at any time. And I hope to see all of you at the company-wide and regional events throughout the year!

Let’s make 2017 a productive and enjoyable year—“ReCharge Yourself and Your Business!”

Faith Greenwood
Gold Team President, 2017
