Our Favorite Social Media Tools

Keeping your social media content interesting and engaging for your followers can be hard. One thing that helps is variety. That means not only posting links, but posting images and videos too. Here are some of the corporate marketing team’s favorite tools to help accomplish that.

Canva

Canva is a simple, fast design tool that allows you to create fun, informative, visually appealing images for your social media. There are thousands of free templates, and you can even keep all the images you create on brand by uploading your own logos and fonts, and saving your custom colors to your Canva brand kit.

Canva offers a 30-day free trial, as well as paid accounts for $9.95/month. You can also purchase additional templates, icons and illustrations within the Canva platform.

Animoto

Animoto allows you to create quick, fun social media videos using your own images and video clips or their stock library, depending on your account level. You can use it to share your own quick real estate tips using text and photos or share a video tour of your newest listing.

Personal accounts are available for $8/month and include 12 marketing templates, 350+ music tracks, three standard fonts and more. Professional accounts are available for $22/month and include HD quality video, 2,000+ music tracks, 50+ marketing templates, 40+ fonts and a library of over 1,000,000 stock photos and video clips. Professional accounts also allow you to watermark your videos with your logo.

Long & Foster Marketing Gallery

Our Marketing Gallery offers a number of free tools for you to further your marketing efforts. That includes custom stock photographs created just for Long & Foster, social media cover images, optimized logos, holiday images, infographics and more.

To use the Marketing Gallery, simply find a photograph, image or graphic you’d like to use and download it to your computer. Now you can use it in your own marketing pieces or upload it to your social media to share with your followers.

Note: We recommend that you don’t share the links to items posted in the Marketing Gallery. The images will not show up in your social media posts, and instead people will only see a nondescript link.
